Dude this is cool.

I actually find this very fitting, looking at the first and last letters. The first one is the European Union symbol (for poland in particular)- which I am now studying, and the last with the American flag. Odd coincidence eh?
The rest of classes started this week, here's my scoop on how things are looking.
German (new prof, I was in a lower level for 'intensive phase')- Internet course. We get to post articles about our experiences here in Europe. Looks pretty cool.
EU seminar (already started before)- this class is looking better now that I don't have it every day for 2 hours. I have a feeling I'll learn quite a bit from this class alone. And this is the one with the major field trips.
Europe in Transition- Thank god that students are giving presentations on the subject material, because there is no way I could listen to this guy talk for 90 minutes. I don't know how I lasted today. He sits there slumped over, just talking and droning on, in the most annoying accent I've ever heard. But maybe the material will be interesting.
Transition of Market Economies- the prof's english isn't that great. which at least means he won't be a stickler for grammar on the paper. otherwise, not sure what to think about this one now. We're covering socialism as a background for a couple days, which I've already heard it all before from my history class last semester. one bad thing- we're field tripping it to a local business on the Friday of my (planned)Olympic trip. Meaning I've got to plan around that now.
Economic Foreign Policy- I think this will be my favorite class. The prof seems pretty cool, and the subject matter interesting. Trade relations, which I seem to be drawn towards pursuing a career in at the moment. The prof majored in (one of his majors at least)- languages of India. I don't know what it is with my international studies profs being so connected to India. First International Relations with an Indian woman, then World Religions with a guy who goes there once a year and just loves to teach about it, and now this guy, who already said he'd be mentioning India a lot. Maybe it's a sign.
All these classes have a final, mid-term, and a term paper which varies from class to class and is anywhere from 8-15 pages. I think I can handle it. Wait- I take that back- no term paper for German. So anywho, that's my sched as I see it now. Overall not too bad.
