heck yes! We made 'pumpkin pi'- we took a bunch a pumpkins and carved into them " *pisymbol* = 3.14159..." one number in each pumpkin as far as we could go with however many pumpkins people brought that year. I think one year we ate pie. I went to a Math and Science school, you think we wouldn't celebrate pi day?
