puszysty at 11:31pm on 30/11/2006It was frickin freezing in Chicago today. It was the annual trip to the Christkindlmarkt in downtown. Wandered around the market and surrounding area. Checked out the christmas decorations at what is now Macy's but used to be Marshall Fields. This year's window theme was Mary Poppins. I think they modified the story a bit...
Had some ok gulasch soup for lunch (I've had better, but it was still nice to have some. I need to make my recipe of it sometime.) The best thing about the markt was that they had HIPPOS. Expensive but I did not care. So I picked up a couple boxes. Went to Pizzeria Uno for dinner. Um, if you don't know what that is, it's Chicago deep dish pizza. Though for some reason, I think they have other branches in other parts of the country.
I'm tired. There is no way I can study for my vocab quiz now.
This quiz is weird and takes forever, but it's fun.
