Fucking damnit!!!! Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, they do. My car is dead. I was supposed to leave here yesterday, but I noticed my car was shaking when I drove in reverse. So I had it looked at, and originally they thought it was just spark plugs (which were old and misfiring). I drove back to the house, loaded up my stuff and left for Grand Rapids. Or tried to. I got about 5 miles up the highway before another light (transaxle or something...it was a blinking exclamation point so I knew something was wrong) went off. I drove it to the shop, and had some sensor replaced, and drove off again. This time I got about 2 miles before that exclamation point wsa blinking at me again. When I went to turn it around, it wouldn't get up a very minor hill without serious gas, then I was driving it at about 40 mph at about 3000 rpm (that's way too many). I had to be towed back and what do I find?

My transmission is shot.

Yea. I have no car, which means no way to get to interviews (not that I have any yet), or even back to GR. I don't know when I will have a car again, because transmissions are expensive and I might just have to get a new car altogether.

What else can go wrong?
