I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I am going to stuck working some shitty low paying job after I graduate.
Why?
For one, I have absolutely no relevant experience. I couldn't manage an internship this summer, and my work history? Catering, McDonald's, groecery store. Not exactly stellar.
I picked a very ambiguous major that no one knows exactly what it means and really specializes in nothing. Basically, I was an idiot and should've went with something like business that actually had career potential.
I go to a small college that no one has ever heard of. How many people do you know that went to Hope? Yea, my point exactly.
While we're talking small, who's ever heard of my town? Who ever really 'makes it' from a small town anyway?
I can't sell myself because there's not much to sell, and I manage to botch every application or interview that comes my way anyway.
10 million college grads, why would anyone choose me when they could have someone smarter, someone who learns faster, someone who retains vocabulary better than me, someone just better period.
Stupid me for actually thinking I could ever be somebody.
