Just letting you all know that I made in home alive. Good to be here, its a much needed break.
Turns out I did have reason to worry about driving. The snow hit hard. Took me three hours to get home. Keep in mind that it normally takes me an hour. My first time really driving on icy roads with not so hot visibility. Now for those of you saying that I made it home safely....
I am in one piece. I slipped a little on the highway..you know, your typical turning a bit to the side. Just so happens that a semi decided to pass me at that very moment. My front bumper and his front..bumper? metal part?...hit, which sent me in a spin off the road (no ditches where I was thank goodness, and didn't hit anything on the spin off). Needless to say the left side of my front bumper is no longer attached to my car. Its currently duct taped in place so I could get it home. I was a little shooken up, a little meaning my screaming when I got hit and totally freaked out. But I am ok, no injuries or anything, and I made it the rest of the way home without any problems. Just thought I'd share that wonderful snow driving experience with you all.
