We all know what assuming does....so no assuming that all republicans are anti-gay, anti-abortion, anti-whatever else. Personally, I think things like same sex marriages and abortion are issues that the government should not be involved in in the first place. Just some impassioned idiot has gotta go out and kill someone because they're an anti, and then the government has to go laying down the boundaries. Then the government just can't STOP discussing the issue, but never really do anything. I don't like the government getting involved in people's private lives. If they aren't hurting anyone else and aren't pyschically hurting themselves, then there is no reason the government should be involved in it.

Sorry for that impromptu political rant.
