Still don't feel like doing anything. After going with a set schedule for two weeks straight, it's nice to be able to kick back and do nothing for a while.
So instead of my thoughts on SD, I will leave you with a pretty picture from turloughishere

So I just watched the video for Umbrella and I have to say 1. Ugly hair dos. 2. The 'rain' scenes remind me somehow of O-town's Liquid Dreams. 3. Gene Kelly dances much better with an umbrella.

Still don't feel like talking about SD. Still aggravated that internet does not work in my room and I have to invade my friend's room to use it. :P
Went grocery shopping today, to stock up on food because I previously had poptarts and peanut butter and that's pretty much it. Cost me a whopping $120, but it should all last me for at least a month, which is a plus. Bonus: eggplant was on super sale for $1 a pound, so I picked up one (for $1.50- a whole eggplant!) and I am going to attempt to make eggplant parmesean tomorrow. We'll see how that turns out. Anyone know of any other good recipes with eggplant? As long as there are no peppers. Cook at the place I was at in SD put peppers in everything and I HATE peppers.

So I'm thinking I really might not be able to afford a trip to Vegas over Labor Day, much as I would really love to go. B/c it's not only a plane ticket, it's a concert ticket (if those aren't sold out by now), and a hotel room. And that's a lot of money.
I have been thinking about going to the DWTS tour when they come to Grand Rapids, because the venue is literally 8 blocks from my apartment (woot!). And I still get to see some sparkly this summer, even if it's not JC (psh, like that was ever going to happen) or Justin. I love Joey anyway, who can't love Joey?
I wanted to pick up the EW he was in, but I think it's already off shelves. I did manage to get TV Guide while I was in SD at a grocery store in Custer, even though I had already seen the spreads before I left. It was my dose of sanity for the week. (Yea, it wasn't an overly positive experience out there). DWTS was the first thing I caught up on when I got back. I had found out in that same weekend, when someone had picked up People, that Ian had been booted, I breathed a sigh of relief (even as the other people rolled my eyes about how I was glad Joey was still on- whatever, screw them....oh ya, after playing the quote 'good' stuff off my mp3 player, I forced the van I was in to listen to "If You Were My Girl". They were feeling it until JC's fake orgasming).

My apt mate probably thinks I'm an internet addict, but whatever, I'm still catching up. My FL went nuts while I was gone, I went through 75 entries and I still don't think that was everything from the past 2 weeks.
