My research paper that I thought was due next Friday- nope, it's next Wednesday. I've cranked out a 20 page paper in 2 days before, but damn if I could repeat that feat.

It wouldn't be so bad if this was the only major assignment. But I've got a Japanese paper of 1000 characters (that's roughly a page to a page and a half, but for my level of ability, it's a lot) due Tuesday, and an econ paper due this Friday. Crap. I may be able to move that paper back a week with significant begging, but I've got nearly three pages written already, so I should be fine on that one.

Images is on Saturday, and yes I am participating. I got an email from a friend who was desperate for people, and it's a really easy dance so I said ok. We worked on it for about an hour today. Someone threw out the suggestion doing a partner thing in like the middle and was like 'how are we going to pick partners?'. I said "by height." I'm taller than one of the guys doing it, and that would look weird for me to be paired up with him. Somehow it came about that me and the friend who recruited me (since we are the tallest) are the only 'partners' doing the thing in the middle. Not that I'm complaining, but that wasn't exactly my intent. *shrug* I do find it amusing that we are doing an Arabic dance basically no Arabs involved (my friend is half Lebanese, and I believe he picked this up from his family). Such is the nature of Images.


Fucking papers.

Impulse buying: purchasing something with no reason at all. Example: Stephanie buying Unbreakable. I haven't bought a Backstreet album since 10 years ago.

K, that last statement makes me feel old.

I'm teed off.

Y'all know how stressed I was about work, so I emailed my boss and asked to only work weekends so that I could concentrate on school work, most especially my Islam paper. What does my boss do? Schedules me for Monday and Tuesday this week. The paper is due Wednesday. Tuesday is a 6am shift- hell no am I working that! 6am shifts wear me out completely b/c I am not able to fall asleep before 1 do not function on 4 hours of sleep. I sent her an email saying there is no way I can work both days. If she keeps the schedule that way, I WILL call in sick Tuesday morning.
