Recently got back from a networking event in Chicago with Hope alumni. Went well. Talked to a lot of people, got some tips, ideas on places to look at applying at in Chi-town, found out a bit what it's like living there. Someone agreed to pass on my resume, which is always of the awesome. Same person also told me I needed to work on not showing that I'm introverted for interviews. Which is definitely easier said than done.
One big conclusion is that I definitely have to move. Nearly all of the newer alums found their job after moving to Chicago, a few through temps. Which takes me back to my city list. *sigh* Having to pick a city out of however many hundred there are is hard.
