Good things, bad things, and strange things:

Good thing- I've been asked to temp on Tuesdays and Thursdays at an associate paper to the one I work at. That means a 5 day week instead of 3. Yay!

Bad thing- Heard back from the IRS today. Here's what they said: "Your 1st choice Austin, TX was canceled, 2nd choice Seattle, WA they filled internally." Dammit.

Strange thing- It was raining so hard this morning, that at 9am it was pitch black outside.

I am flipping between the Teen Choice Awards and Antiques Roadshow. How old am I again?
Her show sucks, but Miley seems like a good host. She knows how to play a crowd well. And is it just me or is JC sitting in front of the Gossip Girl crowd?

Someone brought in a small woven basket worth $5000. Damn.
Speaking of antiques- while counting quarters today, we came across one printed in 1895. I didn't even recognize it as a quarter at first.
It looked like this, only a little more worn.
