It was supposed to be cycling this morning at 10, but there is a USA indoor volleyball game going on live, so that is on. It's a really boring game, since it's just been serve, score, serve, score. Also on: handball and dressage. Dressage is the one event that I just don't get. People trot around on horses and somehow earn points. Can anyone explain it to me?

2:30pm- Watching the road race now. Lots of Latvians, I didn't realize they had a cycling program. Mostly though, I'm marveling at the Chinese countryside. It's really beautiful.

I was gonna mention this last night, but forgot. Though it would be cool to have the Olympics really close to my parent's house, I think that Rio should get the 2016 games. South America has never hosted an Olympics, and they deserve to.

4:25- Speaking of Latvia, their beach volleyball team (think about that for a second, will you?) just upset world champion USA.
