I have been wearing the flag tshirt of a country that wins an event the day before- I wore my Latvia shirt after they dominated the americans in beach volleyball (they also advanced to elimination play today!), my british shirt in honor of the women's road race winner, my america shirt after that kick ass 4x100 relay, and today is Germany in honor of their team eventing gold in equestrian. I need a China shirt. Anyone know where I can get one?

nbcolympics.com is streaming live events, plus has videos of ones that have already happened. he picture quality is amazing. I brought the laptop to work today, and used my lunch hour to watch whitewater canoeing at Panera. Panera, who put honey mustard on my chicken caesar sandwich instead of caesar dressing. You better believe I asked for a new one.

Even if I can only get about 3 people to play, I can never resist this meme when I see it around the FL

( I post the first line to the first 20 songs that come up on random shuffle on my iPod. You guess the song (and artist) from the lyrics. If all the lyrics are guessed correctly, I'll upload the entire lot. No googling on your end, no skipping lame songs on mine (but I'll not repeat artists.) The nation of Togo won it's first medal ever today. A bronze in whitewater kayaking. I love little stories like that. :)

I know that I am completely and utterly spamming today, but I do not care.

Not only does Pieter van den Hoogenband have the awesomest name ever, his nickname is also my college mascot. But what earns him extra awesome points is this (off NBC's site)- "Physically, van den Hoogenband has a sunken chest which he says is 'handy when it comes to resting a pint while floating on your back in a swimming pool.'"
