puszysty at 04:44pm on 09/11/2008Hope College has officially made the news here in Austin. Go us...or not. Estimated sick count is up to 400. O.o I'm glad I graduated.
In other news, I went rollerblading today! At the Austin Veloway, which is a paved trail designed specifically for bikes and blades. Well, mostly for bikes, but the fact that it's paved makes it doable for bladers. Except for one hill where I had to pull myself up by the railing, it was relatively flat. I however, am not a very intense skater, so it was a little tough. It's on the edge of a nature preserve, so it's really pretty to skate through. If/when I do it again, I'll be taking the shorter path.
