This morning I actually drove the speed limit! Usually I go 20mph down the highway, but today there was nearly no traffic. \o/ The highway was a mess at 5 as usual, but I take Congress home, and even that was fairly devoid of traffic. It's weird.

I guess a lot of people had work off today. Grocery store was pretty dang packed as I figured it would be (today is the biggest day of the year in grocery sales). I'm waiting til like midnight to get my Thanksgiving groceries. Hooray for 24 hour stores.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, another one of my roommate's friends is coming- now the grand total is 6. Woo!

Oh and um, I have a date Friday.
I have not been on a date since high school. :/

Twiddling my thumbs, trying to stay awake to make a midnight run to the grocery store. Usually I am in bed right now.

I went to a euchre meetup last night, which was kind of disappointing, because I was the only one under 40. Don't think I'll do it again; I like the game, but I go to these things to meet some people. Plus 75% of the people I know here are from Ohio and I'm sure know how to play anyway. I think in my "meet people" mission, I'm gonna pick a day next week and instead of eating in my car (it is cold in my building, my car is toasty, I use it to warm up) I'm gonna find a bench on the south side of campus and eat there. You never know who might say hi or whatever. Worked once already.

I tried to drop in on ledadada last night, since my euchre thing was close, but I went to the wrong building. Oops.

I should probably work on my sesa. I haven't touched it in a while. I'm in that mode where I know where I want it to go, but I'm not sure how to get there. That happens a lot actually.

I made my dad's goulash tonight- without a recipe! I am so proud of myself. I've never cooked without a recipe before. :)

It's 11, maybe the crowds have thinned out by now....
