I had a dream last night that just as I had left a women's clinic (in a huff b/c I'd waited 5 hours for an appointment and still not gotten in) it was shot up by someone with a machine gun. In my dream, I sat in the parking lot, and never managed to call the cops, though they did show up. And in the aftermath, I saw one of my coworkers as an abortion protester.

I'm so freaked out right now I could cry.

I'd had what looked to have been a promising lead on the roommate situation, she came over to visit the place and seemed like a nice person. But I got an email from her today saying she's tied up in some mess with her old lease and won't be able to move after all. Crap. All the other hits I've had are from foreigners, which sounds like a cool prospect, but if I have to rely on the probability of my roommate obtaining a visa....well, if you know anything about how the American immigration system, you understand.

And unfortunately, I've only been getting 2 hits per post. At that rate, it's going to take me forever to find a roommate.

In other news, I wish I could go to this. It looks really interesting.
