I received an email on my ad for a roommate. Again, for someone in Great Britain. I'm always sketchy about the foreign ones, as a lot of them do tend to be scams. This person, however, gave me contact information for her former landlord and roommate, so I think it might actually be legitimate. I'm scratching my head on what to do with this one.

Had a good weekend this weekend. Went to a meetup of the Central Texas Boardgamers. Most of the people there were a lot older, but it was still fun. Board games are awesome, as long as you play with people who aren't complete idiots. Played a few games I hadn't even heard of before. Also found an awesome game store in Round Rock, and I'm sure I will be back when I have money. And, you know, people to play with.

I did find out that my neighbors play games, after I was over at their house for their super bowl party and saw Settlers and Cities and Knights on the table. But I'm a little cautious of the neighbors right now, because they are friends with my ex-roommate, and I'm still left feeling a bit betrayed by that whole situation. I mean, maybe they're not the type to pick sides, I don't really know them well enough to say. But I think I need to let my own head cool before I hang out over there.

I woke up really late today, and I fear I will never be able to sleep tonight. I hate when that happens, and especially so since I've been having sleep problems lately.

Oh no! Next week's episode of Cold Case has Jeffries getting shot! I hope they don't kill him. That cast is so great together, and there's not a single one of them I don't like (practically unheard of in a tv show, for me anyway), that I don't want to lose a cast member. :/
