Enough stressing. I think this was the sign I was waiting for, or something. The apartment complex that I mentioned that I like called me to tell me they dropped the price of rent, thus ending my qualms about whether I could afford it or not. So I put down a deposit and will be moving in end of June. :) I like the complex, it's in the area of town I was hoping for, it's way bigger than anyplace else I've seen (almost 700 square feet) and has built-in bookshelves (now I have someplace to finally put my books, yay!). Oh, and a dishwasher, so now I won't have to hand-wash anymore. I'm glad I held out on it. :)


I will kind of miss Dinner though. Just a little.

While we're talking about stopping speculating and actually doing, I am going to buy my pass to dragon*con tomorrow. I still can't find someone to stay with me, but screw it, I'll stay in some dumpy little place if I have to. I'm going.
I'm going to talk to the boss on Monday to see if I can get that Friday off. The state of Texas has this thing that instead of getting holiday pay, you can trade the hours you worked for time off whenever you like. Pretty sweet huh? Hopefully I can get that day. And plane tickets aren't too bad to Atlanta (unlike Chicago, people in Austin apparently actually go there).
So yes. Enough waiting on someone willing to help me out. I'm going dammit. I want a vacation that doesn't necessitate spending time with relatives.
