puszysty at 11:01am on 22/08/2009Whoever designed the parking lot at my complex was a moron. Over half the spaces here are designated for "small car only." This is Texas. Everyone drives pick-ups and SUVs. Which means I have to hunt for spaces because a good chunk are unsuable, due to large vehicles taking up a space and a half.
I went to an Acquire meetup last night. (board game, for those who haven't heard of it, which is probably everyone butla_di_dum anyway.) It was a lot of fun, and we played til 11:30 last night. Just me and 5 middle aged guys. I've found though, that the middle aged guys are the best people to play with. They're more into the game than anyone else I've met at the board game meetups. And they've informed me that there is a board game con in Dallas in November. :D
Oo hey, the BSG game (and Pegasus expansion) lists a play time of 2 hours. That means there's actually like, strategy involved. Anyone have it and know if it's any good?
