I hate being a secretary. Not only is totally menial most of the time, but your boss is the one that gets the credit for the work you do.

I was on my home today listening to one of those stations that plays only like, songs that have come out in the last 2 months, right? (If you're really curious, it was Hits 1 on Sirius XM. I have a free six months that came with my car.) They played Highway to Hell. Completely random. Usually if you get old stuff on those stations, it's Puffy. Not AC/DC.

Progress is great on my bigbang, and going nowhere on my bsg fic exchange. I think I need extra carrots and dandelions for bait. Here bunny bunny bunny.

Damn Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee was a looooong movie. It documents the whole Sioux history from Little Big Horn to the Wounded Knee Massacre, which is not only a long stretch of time, but a lot happened. One complaint though: if you're gonna name the movie after the massace, don't skim over the massacre! They spent about 5 minutes on it and that was it.

I don't know if I'd recommend it or not, because to me, it was just a rehashing of all the stuff I learned out on Pine Ridge. Since it covers a whole period of time, it doesn't delve too deep into any one event or person. One thing I don't recall hearing before was that the Canadians were a hell of a lot better at Indian relations than us. Meaning, they let the natives (up from America) chill on their land so long as they didn't piss off the other tribes. Thus reiterating the fact that Canadians are nice.

I did also watch Downfall the other day, and I'd recommend that one. (Thanks [personal profile] trovia!)
