2. When Mt. St. Helens blew (5/18/1980)
again, not born ter
3. When the space shuttle Challenger exploded (1/28/1986)
probably napping. i was 19 days old at this point
4. When the 7.1 earthquake hit San Francisco (10/7/1989)
never heard of it, actually but i was 3
5. When the Berlin Wall fell (11/7/1989)
have heard of this but again, 3
6. When the Gulf War began (1/16/1991)
kindergarten. they didn't talk about that stuff around us
7. When OJ Simpson was chased in his White Bronco (6/17/1994)
tell you the truth, i can't remember when i first heard of the simpson case. but most likely i was outside
8. When the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City was bombed (4/19/1995)
now this...i was in catholic school (no tvs so i heard later), but we prayed about it EVERY DAY for the REST of the year
9. When Princess Di was killed (8/31/1997)
in school i believe, but i was sick of hearing it after 2 days
10. When Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold opened fire on their classmates at Columbine High School (4/20/1999)
school again, they put us under lockdown
11. When Bush was first announced President (11/7/2000)

12. When the 6.8 earthquake hit Nisqually, WA (2/28/2001)
never heard of this either. too far away I guess for MI people to care
13. When terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center (9/11/2001)
math class. the teacher told us, but no one believed him. i found out he was telling he truth at about 1 that afternoon.
14. When Columbia disintegrated during re-entry over Texas. (1/2/2003)
at home, watching tv. i was flipping between FOX news and like...MSNBC i think, watching it
