puszysty at 04:51pm on 06/02/2008I have a feeling that I sometimes come across as a bit...coarse.. online. I don't mean it. Things sound much different in my head than the way people read them, I think.
It's now snowing. I decided to venture out when it was clear, but that only lasted about 5 minutes. Made it to MichiganWorks!. I got there and she asked me for my card. I was like "what card?" considering they just told me to come on in when I called on Monday. So the lady got me a card and put me in the system...then just left me. She pointed me to a list of employment websites then spent the rest of the time on the phone. I was like "what am I supposed to do? I come in here for search advice and you're not going to help me at all?" I took the list and went home. Weather was getting nasty anyway.
....and now it seems to be clearing up. Crazy Michigan weather.
