Went up to Hope last night. It was International Food Fair, and I figured that most everyone I hung out with would be there. I was right, of course, and the food was excellent as always. I've just never had to pay for it before! The plus side of not working the event was that I actually got to try the food before it ran out. Curry goes extremely fast, and I managed some this year. Also, this one guy who is a friend of the international ed director brings cheesecake every year- he makes them as a hobby in over 30 flavors. I actually got some before it ran out this year (butterscotch flavor, yum!) and it was so rich I could barely finish it.
Afterwords Ben and Dave who were there invited me over to their place, since they were having a game night. Played some Rock Band and some game that involved gems before heading home to beat the rain.

Speaking of rain, it's been disgusting all day. We even got hail and a thunderstorm. :P My body has matched the dismal weather; I ache everywhere and I'm cold. What an inopportune time to catch the flu.
