puszysty at 01:54pm on 15/06/2008I got off work an hour and 15 minutes early today! \o/ It was so slow, we probably had about 20 people come in during the hour and a half that is usually the lunch rush. (All having lunch with dad, I guess). They didn't need me so they sent me home. Technically my shift ends 5 minutes from now.
But my god, I think everyone at McDonalds has forgotten how to read! So glad to be out of there. One the regular coffee pots was broken or something, no one could find it this morning. We go through so much coffee in the morning (and it was crazy busy during breakfast today), that I knew we needed another one, and found an extra decaf pot to use. Since the handle was orange and not brown, as regular pots are, I put a big sticker on the handle and wrote "Reg" on it. Twice. Well, I had to actually tell about 6 different people that it was regular and not decaf coffee. The last one was like "it's too confusing, I'm taking it back to the dishroom". Stupid people annoy me.
Random tidbit: did you know that American coins won't stick to a magnet, but Canadian ones will?
