puszysty at 05:35pm on 02/10/2008Guess what? I drove in downtown Austin and survived! I am proud of myself. :)
I have found Target! I despise Walmart, so it's nice to know that Super Target is just a ten minute drive down 35. and there is an Amy's right next to it, yay for ice cream! (Amy's is the Austin equivalent of Cold Stone, just fyi).
Also- I have a mattress! Well, not yet, but I have purchased a mattress and it will be here Saturday. It was more than my mom would have liked, but how am I supposed to know what a mattress usually costs? I tried sitting on the cheapest one and it was like a rock, so I wasn't about to get that one. Plus mattresses usually last like, forever, so I think it's a good investment to get a comfortable one. It's being delivered, along with a frame and boxspring, on Saturday. Yay!
One thing that makes me mad is that I can't find Code Red anywhere here! Grrrrr. It's like, my favorite pop and absolutely no one carries it. It's a pepsi product, so you would think I could find it someplace. You know what I did manage to find while looking for Code Red? Jones. Yes that's right, the pop I said I would miss b/c you could only get it near the canadian border? Is available in certain flavors at Target.
I think I am done with errands for now, as I have food, a bed, and hangers for clothes. Furniture will come later, I really don't need it asap.
