It's interesting to note the amount of people that came out to vote this election- in Michigan, over 68% of all registered voters voted yesterday (or by absentee). Texas was around 60.
My county- who votes Republican on everything went Dem for the presidentials, and I'm quite surprised.
South Dakota had a proposal that was going to ban abortion, but thankfully the people of SD had the common sense to reject it. Medically assisted suicide is now legal in Washington, with about the same provisos as Oregon has had for years.
If I still lived in Holland, I could now buy alcohol on Sunday! About damn time that ban got lifted. The prof that I didn't like lost his Senate, very unsurprisingly, but he managed 25%, which is, I think, respectable in the Republican capital of Michigan.
In non election news, Michael Crichton died yesterday.
In Steph news, I have an interview on Friday! \o/
