Spoke with someone from Hope's career services this morning, after I'd sent him an email saying "I've had no luck, help!" He offered some suggestions, such as calling the Chamber to see if they know of any entry-level specific recruiting firms, and also is trying to gain me access to UT's student job listing site, which would be wonderful.
I've been poking around the website for the Texas Office of Risk Management, which is who I have my interview with tomorrow. Trying to get a good idea what they do, which I think I understand most of, but some of it is still fuzzy. Gives me something to ask about tomorrow at least. My first interview since graduating, about damn time!
Since I worked the last 3 days in a temp position (the comptroller needed help with their backlogged form processing), I have a paycheck coming next week.
My roommate is playing classical music, and the guys in the other half of the place pulled in blasting hip hop. It's an interesting combo. At least Dinner has stopped crowing for the afternoon.
I've been having this problem with my computer the last couple days, where I'll be typing, and suddenly my cursor will move someplace else on the page, and what I'm typing will show up in the middle of a sentence higher up on the page. Liweird huh?ke this. Am I hitting some key by accident that's making it do that, or is it something else?
