I was in the cafeteria at lunch today to get a side to go along with my packed sandwich (80 cent sides, woot), and noticed this on the price board:
Chips
Frito: 75¢ Lance: 99¢
I triple checked to make sure I was reading that right. I wished I'd had a camera for proof. Any speculation on what Lance Chips are?
Speaking of work, what was once my one week assignment, which was then my three week assignment, has now been made four weeks. Woo! I have to renew my parking pass again on Monday (pain in the ass), but I am happy.
Aaaand...I decided to apply to a position in their call center. Call center job, maybe not my ideal position, but it pays really well and I'm told people promote to other departments. :)
The admissions office at UT, where I applied for a position back in October, sent me an email today saying that they still have not selected candidates for interviews, so I still have a shot at that one, which I didn't think I did anymore. Yay!
