I've seen a lot of "guess my story, get a ficlet!" posts going up on my FL. I won't be doing one, since I would probably end up owing everyone ficlets. Does anyone know if there will be an official guess post on mtyg_discuss? I had fun watching that post last year.

I'm ready to go back to Texas, sort of. I'm not ready to get back to job hunting again (I've been using this as a break from all that, at my parents' insistence), and really not ready to go back knowing I won't be working at ERS anymore. But I kind of miss being there. I think it's the weather. Besides all the stuff I mentioned in my last post, it rained all dang day yesterday, and this miserable weather does nothing for my mood. And the lack of Nsync posters on my bedroom walls here freaks me out. A house does not a home make, blah blah, but it never feels like my place without certain items of my stuff. Nsync posters high on that list. I know it sounds silly, but I've had the boys on my walls since 1999, and it just doesn't feel right without them. And before the boys, it was whale posters, so the blank walls are unfamiliar.

I went to a friend's wedding yesterday. Spent more time in the car probably, since it was over by Toledo, and the friend that drove me had to be back here by this morning. It seems rather bizarre to me that this particular friend is now married. Nothing much more to report on than that (except for the sauerkraut at the reception- rather strange if you ask me). Weddings are weddings I guess, it's just my friends and not my aunts and uncles who are getting married now. We didn't stay too long at the reception, so couldn't tell you if it got more exciting or boring as the night went on. I did get carded at the bar they had, immediately after my friend who is oh, 8 months younger than me wasn't given a second look. Grr.

Tomorrow I am going to try and visit la_di_dum, provided I can get to the train station. Whee!
