I am back! I have the headache from hell, but returned alive and in one piece from the DWTS Tour. It was AWESOME. Of course. Lance's chosen dances were his mambo and tango. Quite glad he didn't go for the Jive, there was a ton of Jive tonight and I liked that Lance went for something else. And he SANG. I don't care if you couldn't really hear him above the track, it's the principle of the thing! He came out after the first dance and sang and danced to chorus to Bye Bye Bye. *draws a million hearts around Lance* ♥

He also did this cute number where he had this chair and four girls danced with and around him. Lance is such a ham.
There were also a few group numbers, four of them I believe, one was to a sped up Unbreak My Heart, and the final number was to Dancing Queen.

After the first intro number- which must not have been too exciting because I can't remember what kind of dance it was, I just remember what the outfits looked like- Lance came out and did his "wow this stadium reminds me of my Nsync days" and did Bye Bye Bye all by himself. There was much squeeing on my part. Then Toni braxton did her first number, a cha-cha to Smooth which I don't even remember her doing on the show. Her other dance was a rumba, which I also don't remember. Then Maurice did his jive, and I must say, he's looking better than he did. Maurice's jive is when I finally figured out a setting on my camera that gave me good pictures. Lance's Bye Bye Bye is all blurry :(. But everything starting with Maurice looks awesome!
After that was a dance by the pros- this gorgeous waltz with gorgeous lifts and gorgeous dresses. Then Marlee came out and did a quickstep to Mack the Knife. She's really quite pretty I must say. Her and her partner were pretty funny as well.
I'm totally going by pictures here, as the night is all one big dancing blur.
The next dance was a pro one, I believe a cha cha. They didn't announce them all, and I suck at telling a cha cha from a mambo from a samba, so I can't say for sure. There were shiny vests involved.

Then Lance mamboed! One thing I must say, when I saw Joey on his tour, he looked rather worse than he did on the show. Lance on the other hand looked much better! He was awesome to watch. He even did a lift at some point! (not the mambo, one of the group dances)
After Lance danced, he got to talk for a little bit. And ahahahaha DORK. He was telling Lacey that he "fell in love" on the show. Cut to clips of Cloris Leachman on the big screen, intercut with Lance kissing a picture of her and wearing an "I heart Cloris" shirt, with God Must Have Spent playing over it. It was hilarious. I love Lance! Have I mentioned that already?

After Lance was a flight attendant themed dance that I thought was rather cheesy. All the other pro dances were really good, but this one was just meh for me. They kept them all fast, and I would've maybe liked another slower number besides the waltz. Then Marlee did a dance with 4 of the guys, where she was dressed ala Material Girl to "Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend". That was a fun number. Then was the "ladies after the guy" number, where Lance came out with a chair, spinning it around and just being a ham while four of the female pros danced for his attention. Not gonna work ladies ;)

I'm just gonna skip the pro stuff in order now, and say that they did a "which dance is which" number (still not helpful for me to figure out which is which), a Tango right after Lance did his, a Paso which I thought could've been a wee bit shorter, another number where Cheryl dressed Derek, and then turned into a group pro dance. With the hats they had for that one, I thought they were going to start into Beat It, lol. A dance with the bongo player in the middle of the floor, which I believe to have been a samba, that was a really fun one. The second half dances blur together a bit, since they used mostly Latin songs and not songs I'd recognize. One of the fun things the pros did was a hip-hop number with Lacey, Derek, and some other guy to Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. Lacey's really an incredible dancer, more than we got to see on the show.

Toni Braxton sang both Unbreak My Heart and Breathe Again. She's still got an amazing voice, and hearing those song brought me back to elementary school, man. During Breathe Again (which started with a duet dance alongside), she was going around the floor seats and sitting in the laps of random guys. I was amused. Unbreak My Heart was sped up near the end and they did a full group dance to it; that was probably one of my favorites.

Lance's second dance was the Tango, which was, again, awesome. Marlee's second was um...actually, they didn't say I believe. Something Latin. Maurice's was the one where Cheryl had the poofy feathery dress.

There was a group number where the stars got to show off their own respective 'moves'. Maurice did the worm, and Lance did the Pop intro out of his hip hop. I wasn't quick enough on my camera to get pictures of it, especially after Lacey got her hair stuck in her dress and they had to slink off after the solo bit to fix it. Ouch.

Final number was to Dancing Queen, kind of a mish-mash of styles. And we got to see more solo action from each pair too. :)

In conclusion: Lance!
There will be pictures later. :D
