mmk, so I called ERS this morning to ask about this part time position. Turns out it's a job share- someone who was working there full time can no longer put in full time hours for whatever reason, and this position is to fill in the rest. If I ended up getting the position, it would be 6 months before I could apply for a full time position within the office, which is really the only part that makes me pause. I'm not sure if I'm better off going for it, or waiting a couple weeks for something full time to open up.
