This is JC Chasez, for those who don't know. It's from the episode of Las Vegas he appeared on. He's playing a guitar in this scene, and the way JC smiles when he's performing is one of the prettiest smiles ever. I wish he would go back to it *sigh*, but don't we all?
Why is it my default? I've had various JCs as my default since I created this journal. Though I am considering changing it.

Peep! I took this picture myself. It was a tricky task trying to get peep to balance on a pool cue. It's part of my Peep Tour series, which I have an lj tag for if you're interested.
3.)
Al Calivicci is the coolest sidekick/hologram ever. This icon used to be animated and it said "There is a 95% chance you are here...*insert picture*...to tell me I'm awesome." The quality wasn't so hot, and I lost the animated version anyway. But seriously, every single episode of Quantum Leap, Al saves Sam's ass in some way or another, and Sam always tells Al he's awesome in some form or another. If he said it directly, maybe he'd actually stop jumping. :)

There isn't much of a story behind this one. I wanted a Hoshi icon for my Hoshi fics (Admiral and Perfection), so I found a screencap of him and iconed it. I liked this cap and the nice profile we get of him.

Completely shameless fandom crossover that will never happen. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw the promo shot of JC in pilot gear (from Kerosene Cowboys).

Gaeta/Hoshi = OTP. They're adorable together.
I like to think they loved each other on some level- hence why Gaeta wanted to protect Hoshi from the aftermath I'm pretty sure he saw coming from the mutiny. A guy as dejected and downtrodden as Gaeta wouldn't have the forsight to consider Hoshi's future if he was just casual with him. I think anyway.
