Well, since it's infiltrated both fandoms now, might as well. The WIP meme. :)
1. Chris snorted at him, or perhaps he’d just gotten a Cheetoh stuck up his nose. JC wasn’t sure, Chris tended to make that sound a lot when Cheetohs were present. “So much for ‘learning all the good techniques without having to deal with any relationship bullshit’ huh?” (my stori_telling fic, which will probably not get done before deadline. someone make me finish it eventually, please!)
2. But because Justin thought alliterations were catchy or something, and baseball to him was really just basketball with a couple missing letters, here they were. (the dragon challnege fic. Can you tell I'm having trouble with my popslash muses? Lucky for me, I got my remix fic done way early!)
3. “Hey Louis, I heard you’re gonna be a war hero, just like dad, huh?” Sara said, smiling.
“I’m not going to be a war hero, the war ended a long time ago. Besides, I won’t be just like dad either; I’m not going to be a Viper pilot.”
“Whatever Louis. You are too going to be a war hero. Or a peace hero or something. Everybody knows you’re like, some kind of computer genius, you could probably run a whole battlestar yourself.”
Louis laughed. “I am not a genius, and no way in hell could anyone run a battlestar themselves. But I’ll take the compliment.”
(from my big bang, which may or may not get done by deadline)
4. Adama looked like he didn’t want to agree with her, but had to anyway. Felix knew even without looking that Adama hated his guts, because there were only two kinds of people Adama couldn’t live with: cylons and those who betrayed their oath to the military. Felix had turned out to be both. But even more than he hated cylons and traitors, Adama loved his ship, and he was going to have to let Felix live in order to save it. (From Forgive Us Our Trespasses, sequel to Deliver Us From Evil!)
Notice that you get nothing from Deliver Us From Evil. It's not a WIP anymore, so you'll just have to wait for the rest. :D
I don't tend to keep a lot of WIPs. I don't like to have too many stories going at once, because then I lose focus, and lose my ideas in the process. I still have ideas for stories I'd like to start later (like one about the Galacticans dealing with being refugees), but I don't want to start too early.
