puszysty at 07:09pm on 24/07/2010I officially have only 1 week left in Austin. I think this week shall be a "Best of Austin week" for me- hitting my favorite spots to hang (except the Veloway, it's too hot to blade), eating at my favorite restaurants. My boss has promised me lunch on Friday.
Unfortunately making it a point of going out and enjoying yourself is difficult, if not guilt-inducing when someone you know was just killed in a plane crash. (not anyone I'm close to or have even seen in years, but god, talk about something you never imagine happening to people you know. I'm more than a little shaken up.)
I've done a visual assessment of my apartment, and I think everything that I have left should fit in my car. No more postage! If not, I'm having someone over on Saturday that I'll beg to send me. I just need to get rid of my dang furniture in the meantime. Arg.
