Sad isn't it? I want to meet more, just the geographical vicinity is too far away.
I watched 30 Days the Christian in a Muslim world ep the other night. It was on late, but thankfully I didn't have to work til afternoon so I could stay up. I think the guy who did it handled it really well- he seemed genuinely interested in learning. I'm surprised that he did end up doing the prayer motions at the end. And I learned a few more things about the culture watching it. I knew from the get-go he was going to Dearborn. For those who have seen it...the mosque that was being built in Detroit (actually, it's really just outside of Dearborn) and the guy he met there- same guy we spoke to when my dorm went there. And the mosque isn't finished right now, but the outside is done- it's a huge building.
