K I knew the microwave at this cottage was old when a. it has a dial timer and can't cook anything under 30 seconds and b. it takes a good 5 minutes (at least) to fully pop a bag of popcorn. I checked the date on the back- 1982. That microwave is older than ME. Seriously, there is no reason that thing should still be in use. I'm probably going to die of radiation now.

Actually, we used to have a microwave that lasted many years...we had it until I was about 16, and my aunt and uncle had had it for a good decade before my parent's got it...yeah, and we used to watch the food cook with our faces on the door. Healthy, eh?

I wonder if they could collect interesting information from your autopsy... I mean how many microwave poisoning cases are there?
