aka pictures from Neuschwanstein

This is castle Hohenschwangau, which is right next to Neuschwanstein, and is the castle King Ludwig II built for his parents.



I really like this picture. It looks like Disney World or something.

One last look on the way down the hill.
We weren't allowed to take pictures inside, so unfortunately none of those.

I think I'm becoming some kind of photographer or something, the way my landscapes are turning out. Seriously, I got this on the first try.
The lake there is the Bodensee, it's a pretty big lake. (Huge by most standards, but when you're from Michigan, huge means not being able to see the other side.) This lake is on the border with Switzerland, so those mountains you see on the other side are not Germany. We passed this on the way home- just following GPS directions when it was like *gasp* we must stop and look a bit!
