puszysty at 04:07pm on 10/01/2007Two days ago I had a mini-party in my room with 6 of us, playing Set and eating Cold Stone cookie dough ice cream cake (mmmm Cold Stone). It was a spur of the moment, I feel like ice cream cake kind of thing.
Last night I went out with a friend who was both willing and able to consume alcohol for my first legal drink (excluding my time in Europe). We went to an Irish pub downtown, since we could walk there and they have a full bar. I had an Appletini, which I drank about half (whereupon discovering that appletinis and spinach & artcihoke dip do not go well together). So Stephanie the not entirely adventurous drinker decides to *gasp* order a second drink. I got a strawberry daquiri (my first non-virgin one), which was quite good and I did finish. We were there for nearly 3 hours doing some chit chatting. Overall made for a good evening.
So I had a good 21st. This weekend my mom is taking me up to Alma (where my grandpa lives) to get the same large everything-all-at-once drink that my grandpa's local Elks Lodge makes.
