Dear Abby

I moved in with a friend and her two roommates this summer, as my first step in striking it out on my own in the world. However, things have not gone as planned, and I have gone three weeks without being able to find a job. If I don't find a job within the next week, I'm not going to be able to afford the rent. My roommates have told me that if I move out, they will not be able to afford the rent. What do I do?

Can your roomates hlp you for one month in hopes that you'll be able to gain employment soon? How about your parents?
