I moved in with a friend and her two roommates this summer, as my first step in striking it out on my own in the world. However, things have not gone as planned, and I have gone three weeks without being able to find a job. If I don't find a job within the next week, I'm not going to be able to afford the rent. My roommates have told me that if I move out, they will not be able to afford the rent. What do I do?

I think my worldview paper is going to come out sounding like an lj entry. Seriously. I can't really write an essay about myself, I need to feel like I'm actually saying it. Does that make sense?

The lock on our apartment door is broken. My roommates call it 'finnicky', but that's bs because it should not take 2 hands to turn a key. Or take 5 minutes just to get a door locked.

The engine light is on my car. There better not be anything more wrong with that thing, not after the major repairs it's had over the past two weeks.
