Guess what y'all? I am officially a Texan! I got my license and vehicle registration today. The registration was easy, took like 5 minutes. License, not so much. When I went to the DPS office, I didn't know that I needed 8 million forms of id. After heading back here to get everything I needed, I went to a different office with more workers, and was in and out in about 20 minutes. Now I have a spiffy new plate and a piece of paper that says I am a Texas certified driver.

And, since today is the 7th, that means I can post my first week of pic365 pictures!

I've only been off work for 3 days, but man, it's killing me. I'm so utterly bored. Nothing is really holding my attention at all at the moment. I've tried with my spare time reading, writing, watching movies, playing games, iming- I feel so utterly ADD right now. I kind of want to play board games, by my roommate spends her evenings working and I still don't have many friends here. :(
There is the job hunting of course, but I can't spend my entire day on that, I'd likely go nuts.

I'm looking for a weekend job currently, just something for extra money. I put in an app at Denny's yesterday, as it's close to my house, and I'm sure weekends are busier there. I wasn't able to pick up any apps today because of all the running around trying to get my license stuff together. I shall browse the area tomorrow.

Hm, now that I think about it, I think the ADD is a combination of a post-Lance high and the fact that my birthday is Friday. This will be the first time in a while that I haven't had an ice cream and games party. I think I'll treat myself to Amy's.
