I had a dream last night that the cast of Battlestar all worked at my agency in Customer Benefits in between gigs. Don't I wish?

Then some huge issue came up with QDROs, and I had to mail out these packets to people, but not before the attorneys had a meeting to sort the mess out. The guy who plays Hoshi, he had been working with Ken (who is the actual guy at my agency who does all the QDRO stuff up in CB), and he knew the background of what was going on, so I got to work with him.

Note: this is me wishing my job was more important that it is. Usually if an emergency pops up at work, I am the last one involved. And the idea of a QDRO emergency is rather sort of ridiculous.

I am attempting to make quiche. I fear impending disaster. First off, I didn't realize I didn't have a rolling pin when I made the crust, so I had to use a turkey baster instead. It's round, it rolls. Thing is, I didn't get the crust quite wide enough, and with the amount of egg mixture it called for, it sort of...overflowed. I think I can manage to get some of the spillover out, since it will cook faster than the rest. Heh.

Can you tell I'm not much of a cook?

ETA: The crust sucks. I goofed that up somehow. The rest didn't turn out quite so bad. Not well enough for me to attempt again, I think.
