I've heard people at other signings meet some creepy fans, but the Chicago people that I ran into were all like, really cool. Most of us had skipped class to be there haha. While we were in line, there was plenty of discussion regarding the books around us (this girl and I drooled over the ice cream book that was right in front of my face. Damn you Borders for starting the line in the food section. Also discussion later on Bush, when green was moved to the politics section). So yea, no creepy fans on my part.
God, I am not gonna get anything done today. I'm still all "LANCE!"
So I finished Lance's book last night.
I was kind of disappointed by the book. There was so much more he could've said and should've said. I felt it was too general. Oh that, and he like talks about this feeling of being free (whether he had it or didn't) in the first half of the book, but kinda dropped it after that.
Things I picked up from the book:
JC is awesome. I mean, of course he his, but little details about the ways how no one is going to stop him from making music just make him even more awesome.
Joey loves porn. lol
Lance needs a fact check. For example, Gone was the second single and 6th track off of Celebrity. Not 5th track, 3rd single. Whatever.
Lance was still pissed at Justin when he wrote this. But he tried to cover it up with that whole "oh he's my brother and he's so talented blah blah", but I wasn't completely buying it.
He really has nothing to say about Chris. I don't think they're all that close.
You know, I know Lance put a lot of work into space training, and "it was his dream!" and all that, but I still stick by my original opinion in that I think it was a dumb idea. You can disagree with me if you like.
Lance misses singing. A lot.
Um...other questions, just ask.
