John Mayer makes me smile. I can't say I'm a real big fan of his music, but his personality makes me smile, really.

So I want to know, what's one album you think everyone should have in their collection? Or even one song? I'm looking for some new things to listen to.

My top 3 albums that I think everyone should have (You can't expect someone with music in their lj name to just choose one! LOL) -

1. Eagles - Greatest Hits (classic)
2. Christina Aguilera - Stripped (even those who don't like her persay really appreciate her lyrics and the songs here)
3. Linkin Park - Meteora

Confession: my brother bought The Eagles Greatest Hits when I was a senior in high school and played it for 2-3 weeks straight, including the whole 7 hour drive to a college in Missouri. I haven't been able to listen to it ever since.

I'll keep the other 2 in mind though. Lol

he's a fan! he knows the lyrics! he's such a fan. welcome out of the closet John.

and for albums
1. Garbage's 2nd album, Beautiful. I can listen to it all the way through. Each song is it's own jam. Turn it up and tune out.
2. I made myself a compilation of Muse's music, there's several good things on each album. Try Supermassive Black Hole (their current single) or Butterflies and Hurricanes. They have a lot of good stuff.
3. Purely instrumental, I like the soundtrack to Avalon by Randy Newman. It takes a certain mood but it hits the spot.
