Larry the Cucumber sings Feliz Navidad
Even if you aren't familiar with Veggie Tales, it's still pretty funny.
I made myself some Rosti (o should have umlauts, but I can't remember how to do that in html) tonight. What is Rosti? It's a Swiss potato dish. Good stuff, and makes a great vegetarian dish. I like it because it is the simplest thing ever to cook.
Ingredients:
Shredded potatoes (my local Meijer sells rosti kits, but uncooked hasbrowns work just as well)
Mozarella cheese
Whatever else you feel like tossing in!
Directions:
Cook potatoes till a light brown. Basically you don't want them all that crispy.
Add cheese and other ingredients, mix well. I've had it with chicken, ham, and mushrooms, but I like to cook it myself with cheese and tomatoes. I added a little leftover spaghetti sauce tonight, which went really well, gives it a teensy bit of zip (especially since I like my spaghetti sauce with garlic in it).
