Well, I just got my first rejection. :( Immigration services told me that I am "not among the most qualified candidates" so I won't be contacted. I thought I had a chance of at least an interview, since the position is open to inexperienced candidates.

Am I aiming too high here? Should I be applying for secretarial jobs instead of ones that ask for 1-2 years experience in the hopes that my education will offset my lack of experience? Or ones that ask for the business degree I don't have? I don't know what to do here guys. No one is calling, no one is emailing, just nothing.

I'm tired of sitting at home. I just want a job. A full-time job that pays enough for me to live on and provides health insurance. Is that really too much to ask?

I think you should keep applying for anything and everything that seems interesting to you. It's stressing and depressing, but you never know who's going to want you for something. Good luck! :)
