Who here watched the Superbowl?
First off, I'd just like to say that I was surprised that the good commercials continued into the second half. That usually doesn't happen. Makes me happy though. :) I think my favorite one was Pepsi Max. All the Budweiser commercials were pretty funny, as always, as was Shaq as a jockey. And watching Justin get beat up was rather enjoyable too. :D

Despite the fact that my reaction over having Tom Petty as halftime entertainment is still "wtf? couldn't they get someone who's had a hit in the last 15 years?", I thought it was a good show. Tom still sounds about the same as he did. That stage was pretty sweet too.

Now about the game. I was rooting for the Giants, but honestly didn't think they'd win. Clearly, they were just better last night. Yay Giants! Sorry, but I just really don't like the Pats. :P I thought the game was pretty boring (I like to see people actually score) until the last 10 minutes. I thought that...um, what's his name that starts with a T who sacked Brady multiple times should've been MVP. But whatever.

I went in watching that game with absolute indifference to the outcome, but after a lecture from a friend's boyfriend about how Tom Brady is evil, we all decided to cheer for the Giants. lol And of course, I always love cheering for the underdog :)

I'll have to check out the commercials again. It was so loud where we were that I couldn't tell what was going on with them.

My personal favorite commercial was the Dorito's mousetrap one. I almost choked because I had to cough while I was laughing from that one.

The guy that sacked Brady a lot was Justin Tuck, a graduate of Notre Dame. I was rooting for the Giants because I hate Boston sports. Yup.
