Ok so. I might actually be able to walk in May. The wedding I thought was happening is for family only. Which is ok I guess. I just don't get why they shared all the info about when and where and whatnot then didn't invite anyone.

In other news, I really can't take it anymore here guys. It's not just the cabin fever. It's my dad's constant bitching about the dump he calls a cabin that should've been sold a long time ago, it's that I have a whole 2 friends in the area which equates to a very slim social life (especially since the only other people my age around are the ones who barely passed high school), it's the fact that the economy here sucks so much that even getting a part time job is a chore and a half. Mostly, it's that I HATE this area soooo much. I want OUT. Now. My mom keeps pestering me to apply to Whirlpool, which is a good company (though they told me I was too underqualified for an internship last year...yea, like Hope offers a major in Supply Chain), but seriously guys, I went to college so I could leave this godforsaken place. I don't care if it'd just be temporary for like a year, I can't stand to live here for another month.
I honestly wasn't joking when I said that I was losing my mind. I just hate my life so much right now and I desperately want something, anything, to change.

That's a horrible situation you're in.

I really hope you get the opportunity to get away soon.

If I lived on your side of the state...I would be looking in Illinois for jobs. Chicago suburbs are awesome. I do know some people that work at Whirlpool though...use to work with me a few years ago.

;-/ *hugs* Maybe try driving around town, in suburbs a bit away and write down any businesses you find. Then look them up on the 'net and see if you can apply to any openings. Do mass mailings of your resumes. That's some tips my dad and I have done. It helps get your foot in the door to at least an interview.

Hon, I live in a town of 2500 people. Suburbs isn't something we have here.

That's ok. Thanks anyway. Maybe next time I'm over in Chicago.
