Hope type people- when do we get tickets for graduation? Hope has basically severed contact with me since I've been gone, so I know NOTHING. Is there a wesbite for all this or anything?
Everyone type people- if you are one of those who prefer msn messenger to aim, I have that as well. Same screenname as I use on aim, just @hotmail.com. Just fyi.
I've had more engagements sprung on me! A friend from high school just got engaged, after less than a year of dating someone apparently. I've kind of met his fiance since they both go to Hope, but I've never been formally introduced. That makes 6 people from the MSC as far as I know that are engaged. That's over 20% of the class! Additionally, I have found out via facebook (sad isn't it? I'm terrible about keeping in contact with people, but apparently I'm not the only one) that my old roommate is engaged. Weh? She was not dating anyone when I roomed with her, so this relationship is newer than June 2007. !!! That makes, oh, 3 of my friends who got themselves all engaged in less than a year of seeing someone. WTF people?
I think one should date someone for at least 2 years before popping the question. You know, actually get to know someone, find out what makes them tick, what odd quirks they have, etc. Even if that person was a friend before, because dating someone brings on a whole other level of knowing them. That's the one thing I did learn from my miniscule relationship history.
