I'm interested in where you all live.
So I'd love for you to comment below, and tell me which city/region/country you are from. And I'd love if you could add to that one particular thing that makes your part of the world unique. It might be music, a TV show, a recipe, a landmark, a specific historical fact. Anything you are proud of, whether other people might be aware of it or not. Pictures are also awesome if you like.
And I know you might not think there's anything interesting about your town, but sometimes it's odd what you dig up. I was looking for a picture of Bridgman, and discovered that my dinky ass town was once a hotbed for the Communist Party of America. I kid you not. They held conventions here until they were infiltrated by the Feds in 1922 and like 30 people were arrested.

I have not been to central Ohio, but I've been to the Cleveland area many times.

Well if you ever are, I can be a tour guide. :-)

My home town is Eltham, a suburb of south-east London. We have lots of history there too (we were one of the earliest "commuter villages" thanks to railway links out to Kent built in the mid-19th century, and a commuter town for the arms factory during the First World War too) - probably the most interesting historical fact I know about Eltham is that one of the local cemeteries holds the grave of the very first Australian Aborigine to visit Europe.

That's really interesting.

We've had a few films filmed around here, Girl Interrupted, Apprentice to Murder (which is actually based on a "true" story that occured about 5 min from my house, and they had the movie premiere here), and Oprah's Beloved (which fucked up traffic on my way to work for MONTHS LOL).

Currently I'm in Houghton, which gets 300 inches of snow per winter. Important part of the Copper Country, which was the first great mining boom in the country and lasted a lot longer than the California and Yukon gold rushes.
